Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing has accused a company associated with Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest person, of defrauding the Nigerian government through a shady agreement.
In a letter to the president, Mr Fashola accused Alheri, a company owned by Mr Dangote of acting in concert with Phase 3 Telecommunications to cheat the federal government.
Lagos Times obtained a copy of Mr Fashola’s letter to President Muhammadu Buhari. Mr Dangote’s spokesperson Tony Chiejina did not respond to repeated requests seeking comment.
