Seyi Makinde, the governor of the South-West state of Oyo says that his state recorded thirty new coronavirus cases on Saturday.
He added that nine people had been discharged after two tests confirmed that they were no longer positive. Oyo has now discharged fifty-eight people who recovered from the virus.
Mr Makinde said that the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State had now hit two hundred and thirty-three.
