Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC has announced the appointment of Mrs Sola David- Borha as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 24 September 2020, following the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.

Ms David- Borha is currently the Chief Executive of Standard Bank (Africa Regions). Prior to that, she served as Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC between 2012-2017 and was the bank’s chief executive between 2011 and 2012 after holding various executive positions in Corporate Banking; Corporate and Investment Banking; and Investment Banking Coverage for Africa (excluding South Africa). She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company.

Ms David-Borha has had an extensive career in the financial services industry, which has spanned over 30 years. She is an alumna of several prestigious institutions including the Harvard Business School and the Global CEO Program of
CEIBS, Wharton and IESE Advanced Management Program. She is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria
